The PDS (Pro Dome System) has been close to two years in the making, we have added all the features needed to create a unrivaled Dome System that is affordable and easy to use, while offering industry leading optics.
The GoDome Housing uses a 160mm Dome, made from the highest quality acrylic, this massive dome pushes the waterline away from the lens, creating a space that allows you to capture the split in the water line with unbelievable ease.
The spacing also improves water shots above the water as spray or drops that would have covered most of the lens (ruining the shot or video) are now just a small dot in the field of view.
As the gap between lens and dome moves water particles further away from the camera lens, meaning that underwater images become cleaner and the field of view is drastically improved.
With the GODOME design, your camera is always in its original (stock) Hero 4/3+ Slimline Waterproof Housing without any modifications.The Dome comes with a built in front LCD window so you can see vital information such as shooting modes, battery life and memory card capacity.We have also added a built in front button lever that allows you to turn the camera on, as well as change modes and settings with the click of a button, made from high grade CNC’d aluminium it is an impressive addition.The Back plate is made from 3mm aluminium plate allowing one fasten the GoPro in place as well as to view the LCD screen and use the back touch screen on the rear screen on the Hero 4 Silver.The GODOME has been fully wave tested, check out Pierre de Villiers Images & Robbie Crawford, who has been getting perfect shots with their GODOME in the waves.
This Dome Housing is only made to be used with the Hero3+ or Hero4 Slimline waterproof housing (no other accessories are required for use) but various other accessories can be used including grips, various triggers and poles, we sell a wide range, check out our accessories.
As the GODOME is made up of completely detachable parts, you can easily service as well as buy spares and even upgrade your GODOME.100% Proudly South African .
